Some of My Favorite Authors and Books

George R.R. Martin, author of my favorite book series of all time, "A Song of Ice and Fire" (fantasy). The first book of the series is "A Game of Thrones", followed by "Clash of Kings", then "A Storm of Swords", and most recently                                                                 "A Feast for Crows". Fans, like myself, are currently waiting for part 5, "A Dance With Dragons"

Ray Bradbury, science fiction writer. Some of my favorite works of his include  "Illustrated Man", "Dandelion Wine" and it's sequel "Farewell Summer", "Fahrenheit 411", "From the Dust Returned", as well as compilations of short stories and many more.

Kurt Vonnegut, "Galapagos" and "Slaughterhouse Five"

Orson Scott Card, the "Ender's Game" 8 part series

Anthony Burgess, "A Clockwork Orange"

Hunter S. Thompson, "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas", "Hells Angels", "The Curse of Lono", "A Generation of Swine", and "The Rum Diary"

Some of My Favorite Artists

The majority of what I listen to is punk rock, including bands such as: The Germs, Black Flag, Minor Threat, Dead Kennedys, Misfits, Bad Religion, NoFx, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Nerve Agents, Tiger Army (older stuff), etc.

Classic rock: The Beatles, The Doors, Eric Clapton/Cream, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Queen, Grateful Dead, etc.

Underground(ish) Rap: Atmosphere, Safe Francis, MF Doom/Dangerdoom, and Brendan B.

Trance: Paul Oakenfold, "Sandstorm" (no idea who its by but its pretty famous), and I really like "Xpander"by SASHA -- (theres more but I don't know many trance names)

Country (sort of)/Rockabilly: Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Chuck Berry, Elvis, Stray Cats, and Carl Perkins

Smashing Pumpkins is an all time favorite.

Too many more to list, that is just a sample of some stuff I'm into.
